Hello again everyone. I’m Daniel and I’m back once again with the Geekvape Nova Kitreview. This kit excites me because I’ve been a big fan of Geekvape products since the Ammit Dual Coil RTA came out. The Nova mod is a dual 18650 device that has an aluminum frame and resin panels on the sides. I don’t want to go over it all here, let’s break down the details

The Geekvape Nova Kit I’ve received is in a black sample box and only has a contents sticker on the front. Slide the top off you are presented with the Geekvape Nova modsitting at the top in whatever frame and resin color you have selected.
Pull that tray out and you find your Cerberus Sub-Ohm tank and a box of accessories that includes a straight glass for the tank, a spare KA1 0.20 mesh coil, replacement o-rings and seals for the tank and a flat micro USB cable.
Cerberus Sub-Ohm Tank
The Geekvape Cerberus Sub-Ohm tank is a 25 mm, top fill, dual airflow tank that comes with mesh coils. The coils are KA1 mesh coils, are 0.20 ohm and comes with one coil installed and one in the accessories box.
The included drip tip is low profile, 810 styles and the top cap has embedded o-rings and holds drip tipswell. It does have a ledge so super wide or narrow 810 tips may look funny.
Give the top a half turn and it unlocks the top and reveals the fill ports and the bottom of the lid has a large o-ring. I like the Zeus style fill system. The ports are large enough but could be a tiny bit larger, not a big deal though.
Pre-installed is a bubble glass that holds 5.5 ml of juice or you can swap it out for a straight glass that holds 4 ml of juice. The coil screws into the base which is 25 mm in width and has two airflow ports and one adjustment ring which opens and closes the amount of airflow. After screwing in your coil, pick a glass section, screw on the top and you have a Cerberus Sub-Ohm tank.
Geekvape Nova Mod
The Geekvape Nova 200 mod is a dual 18650 device that vapes between 5-200 watts in power mode, does TC for NI, TI and SS. You can also set up a variable wattage curve or vape in voltage mode. The usual set of vaping modes.
On one side we have a fire button, screen, and adjustment buttons. The fire button has light engraving in a circular pattern and is nice and clicky. The screen displays what mode you’re in, dual battery meters, resistance, volts amps, and puffs.
The puff counter resets at 999 unfortunately because I’ve already rolled the counter over using the hell out of this mod. Three clicks of the fire button take you into the menu. A little-known command is to click the fire button three times, then push the up and down button at the same time and it changes the screen color.
It starts as blue screen then switches to the purple and red screen. Personally, I like the red the most. It does say it’s AS Chip inside above the battery compartment, so Geekvape has a name for their extremely fast firing chip.
At the top, we have an oblong 510 plate that has screws mounting it to the mod. 25mm attys go right to the edge. Even though it’s larger than 25mm, the Creed RTA looks like it was made for this mod.
The back corner has a notch for you to be able to easily remove the battery door. The white battery compartment is very clean and has a ribbon long enough to remove both batteries. I believe Geekvape has three or four different color frames for this mod and three or four different colors of resin, so lots of options exist.
The frame is aluminum so it’s very light and the model I received has wavy resin with that feels nice in the hand and ads some grip.
Geekvape Nova Kit Performance
The Geekvape Nova mod is one fast firing firecracker. Mesh coils fire up fast anyways and on this mod, I swear you hear crackling before the button is fully pushed.
The mod is super comfortable in the hand to me. I like the feel of the resin and its wavey grip. I vaped it in TC with SS single coils fused Clapton and it works well for me. I’m not a TC expert so but it functions fine for me.
I just like regular old wattage mode and this mod really deliver. Ramp up basically doesn’t exist on this mod. It just fires instantly. Construction is top notch. The battery door on the model I have may wiggle around half a millimeter if you’re trying to move it but just holding and using it, you don’t feel it move.
I love the Geekvape Nova Kit. I can’t hide it or downplay it. Because of my personal issues I’ve gone through recently. I’ve used this longer than most mods I review. I’ve put over 2,000 puffs on it and I have this to say.
The mod is made extremely well and functionality is great. It comes down to if you like the looks of it. I started vaping years ago and most mods used to be shaped like this but were heavy and all had delays when you hit the fire button. I’m a sucker for resin, it’s lightweight and fires fast as hell. To me, it’s a great kit. If you like the looks of it, I totally recommend it.
The tank isn’t anything we haven’t seen before but it’s a good Sub-Ohm tank with two mesh coils. I haven’t had the mesh coil burn out or lose flavor yet but I’ve been using a lot of RTAS on this mod as well. It fires up whatever Clapton coils I have inside RTAs really fast as well. Like I said, it’s a good functioning mod.
